Arizona Bicycle Classic - October 20, 2018
Scenic Arizona Events' Arizona Bicycle Classic takes advantage of our state's best seasons for outdoor adventure in order to serve up an off-the-charts road cycling experience. This semi-annual fun event, held every April and October, features three distances: 28, 56, or 78 miles. The mild terrain along State Route 188, with gently rolling hills, also features spectacular Wild West scenery. According to the state's Cycle Arizona map, SR 188 is one of the least-traveled paved roads in Arizona. The event starts and finishes at picturesque Jake's Corner, about 80 miles northeast of Phoenix. From there, riders will enjoy views of saguaro forests as far as the eye can see, as well as the rugged Sierra Ancha Wilderness and the Superstition Mountains. Visit Arizona Bicycle Classic for more ride and registration information.
